Best way to rent a car in Pakistan

JonaH
Yo, flying into Pakistan soon to visit family, and I am thinking about grabbing my own wheels instead of relying on relatives to drive me around the whole time. Never hired a car there before, so I am a bit in the dark about the whole process. What is the smartest way to lock something in without getting stuck with a busted ride or hidden fees?

Man, having your own car there is a total game changer, especially if you are bouncing between cities or just want the freedom to head out for chai without waiting for a cousin to hand over the keys. Bring your passport, a valid US licence, and an IDP is worth having even if not every rental desk asks for it. To browse what is available and rent a car in Pakistan, check the listings on this site https://getrentacar.com/en-US/pakistan .

Check whether the rental includes a driver or is self-drive only, because some places default to sending a car with a driver and the price looks cheap until you realise you are not actually behind the wheel. Clarify that upfront, so you do not end up with a chauffeur when you wanted to drive yourself.
