[smufl-discuss] Apologies for missing the MusicXML community meeting yesterday

I'm very sorry that I wasn't able to attend the MusicXML community meeting at Musikmesse in Frankfurt yesterday afternoon.

I was scheduled to fly out to Frankfurt from London and to return in the same day, but unfortunately my scheduled flight was cancelled due to fog at Heathrow, and the flight onto which I was rebooked was then significantly delayed (in the end, by around seven hours) due to a technical fault with the aeroplane. By the time I was able to disembark and enquire about an alternative flight, it was already past 12pm in Frankfurt, and there was no way for me to get there in a timely fashion.

I understand that Michael Good ably walked through the material I was planning to present on SMuFL. I have published the slides on Slideshare in case anybody wants to take a look at them:

I am expecting to receive from Michael a summary of the discussion points and questions raised, and I will respond to them as best I can, most likely both here and on the MusicXML discussion list/forum, as soon as possible.

Thanks again to Michael for handling the presentation in my absence, and I hope to attend any such future events without any similar dramas!
