Hi,
There is one symbol which is quite rarely used. That's a version of
the double flat where stems of the flats are connected to each other
with a beam. Here there are sources mentioning that kind of symbol as
an alternative to the standard one:
[Nurnberg, 1953]:
http://notovodstvo.ru/smufl/alteration/nurnberg.pdf[Dudka, 1985]:
http://notovodstvo.ru/smufl/alteration/dudka.pdfI think it was mostly used in the handwritten (or callygraphically
reproduced) scores. Here there is even one more source which mentions
only this version of the symbol, without the standard one:
[Atovmian, 1946]:
http://notovodstvo.ru/smufl/alteration/atovmian.pngThat's my implementation of the symbol based on Petrucci font:

be added to stylistic alternates of "Standard accidentals" group.
All the best,
Peter
