[smufl-discuss] Feedback on jazz font aspects of .8

Ed Hirschman
Hi Daniel and list,

The names listed on page 134 all have the prefix "Brass".  Would
suggest to change/generalize that to "Jazz" as these techniques are
also used for saxes which are woodwinds.

Not sure if this is the right place, but the jazz turn on page 135
looks just like the classical one, so would suggest something
non-classical looking for appearance in the spec and in the Bravura
font itself.  I  have drawn two versions on my own a while back which
can be downloaded here and I freely donate to the project as needed.

Same for Flip on p134.  A more authentic one can be downloaded here

There is a similar issue with the Bend on page 135 which looks a bit
like a staple, not a bend you would see in a jazz chart.  The jazz
bend can be seen here

click on "Interpretation of Jazz Band Literature" link
page 5, example C6
