I didn't put a huge amount of thought into the registration of these
glyphs, and I'm certainly open to reviewing them.

If I understand your request correctly, for the arrowheads (as opposed to
the arrows with shafts) you want the glyph to be equally balanced either
side of Y=0. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Perhaps, if it's not too much trouble, you could cook up a little diagram
(and host it on imgur or Dropbox or similar, since you can't send
attachments to this list) that illustrates your desired registration, and
shows what benefit it has?
