I decided to make the alignment of the SMuFL range and the Unicode Musical
Symbols range different so that as many use cases as possible were
supported. I believe it was you, Myke, who suggested that it should be
possible to move notes up and down the staff in the text version of the
font, so I considered that an important requirement to satisfy, and due to
the approach we had taken with the 'Staff positions' control characters,
it was necessary to position the SMuFL glyphs on the nominal middle staff
line.
You should find that U+1D162 gives the 32nd note as expected; it is
certainly correct for me. (It was wrong in 1.0, but that was the only fix
in 1.01, according to my notes.)
