Regarding the system of Arabic accidentals, I found another reference
that uses the same system. The reference is: 'Abd al-Samī' Hashād, Medhat - مدحت عبد السميع حشاد Maqām - مقام Dar Merit, Cairo, Egypt - دار ميريت (year unknown) Here are links showing the book cover and relevant accidentals page: https://github.com/infojunkie/music-l10n/blob/master/images/merit_0cover.jpg https://github.com/infojunkie/music-l10n/blob/master/images/merit_accidentals.jpg On Mon, Mar 14, 2016 at 10:06 AM, Karim Ratib <[hidden email]> wrote: > Thanks Daniel, I only have that one source atm, but I will research > more and update the thread here. > > On Mon, Mar 14, 2016 at 2:19 AM, Daniel Spreadbury > <[hidden email]> wrote: >> Karim wrote: >> >>> I'm working on bringing Arabic and Turkish notation to a number of >>> open source projects.
