Thanks for this summary, Maurizio. I should have mentioned on the list
that I went to do some research a couple of weeks ago, referring in
particular to Diana Poulton's book on the Renaissance lute, and have now
implemented a decent amount of support for lute tablature in SMuFL 0.8,
which I will share quite soon; I have a little bit more expert feedback to
review on those ranges before it's ready to share.
