Unfortunately I don't have a good suggestion for this at the moment. We could perhaps allow the characters in the 'Staves' range to be combined with the 'Combining staff positions' range so that you could overprint e.g. a narrow 5-line staff glyph offset by (say) 6 staff positions, which would produce three ledger lines. At the moment, however, the glyphs in this range are not included in the set of glyphs that are considered movable by the staffPosRaise.../staffPosLower... glyphs.
