The minimal metadata would be the bounding boxes of all glyphs (which in
theory can be consumed by Finale such that the user does not have to
manually create font annotation data in that application).
The cut-out metadata for accidentals is, I believe, used by MuseScore 2.0,
so it could be worth adding that.
The stem connection metadata for noteheads and flags is not yet used by
any application, as far as I know, but certainly we intend to make use of
that information in our own application.
