You're welcome - and not the first to get this wrong.
We were quite excited when Michael Good told us at the MusicXML meeting
in Frankfurt that MuseScore had made Gonville SMuFL-compliant - only to
learn then that they "only" implemented a completely new font with
Gonville's shapes.

To clarify further: Gonville isn't LilyPond's font but the first
available replacement font created by Simon Tatham.
Until recently using it meant tricking LilyPond into thinking she saw
her own Emmentaler font. But by now LilyPond has a font switching
mechanism, and Abraham Lee (its developer) has already made a nice set
of alternative fonts (available at http://fonts.openlilylib.org).
I know this is somewhat OT but I hope it isn't considered inappropriate ;-)

Best
Urs

Hi,

I filed a bug in the MuseScore bug tracker regarding the font registration of Gonville: http://musescore.org/en/node/41621

If anyone find more problems, I'm sure bug reports are welcome! The font has been mainly contributed by Grzegorz Pruchniakowski (Gootector). A different font name might be a good idea indeed...
