I don't think it would be a good idea to set aside slots for unknown
accidental systems, as that would lead to divergent implementations pretty
quickly, I think. After all, there's plenty of room in the Private Use
Area for individual implementations if particular vendors really need to
do that: we don't need to explicitly provide gaps to allow this.
If you are well-versed in the world of microtonalism, Alex, perhaps you
would be well-placed to make recommendations about any existing systems
that are sufficiently well-understood to be considered uncontroversial
enough for inclusion?
