I'm not opposed in principle to adding ranges to SMuFL to accommodate
German organ tablature. It's not an area with which I am personally
familiar: my experience goes only as far as the details given in Apel's
book:

(See pages 23 following for what Apel has to say.)

Somebody would need to work up a detailed proposal of what characters
should be included, provide names/descriptions, and also provide details
of where suitable models for the characters can be found, preferably in
published music (e.g. modern editions of 16th century organ books) rather
than merely reproducing e.g. the specimens given in Apel from a couple of
specific manuscripts.
