The glyphs included in SMuFL were taken from the Opus font family, which
were in turn taken from Tage Mellgren's set of fonts for new notations
that Sibelius acquired some years ago. Tage was not always able to provide
good sourcing for all of the symbols in the font, so I wasn't actually
aware that these clefs were used by Penderecki.
Could you share with me a picture of the relevant passage from
Karkoschka's book? (It and Chlapik's book are the only two relatively
standard texts that I don't have here on my desk).
