You've not missed anything: SMuFL doesn't cover them specifically, on the
grounds that the digits tend to be set in the main text font used for a
given score or publisher's house style, rather than having a specific
appearance (in contrast to, say, tuplet and time signature digits). The
brackets themselves are likewise not included because they tend to be of
variable width and hook height, which makes them somewhat unsuitable for
providing in the form of fixed-size font glyphs.
