That's correct; we haven't quite finished working on this yet. My colleague Ben is working on a tool to help me quickly allocate groups of glyphs into classes, and once that's done, I will make a first pass of the classes JSON file. I would hope to make that preliminary file a part of the next SMuFL release, 0.8, which is coming soon.
