I have finetuned my SMuFL metadata generator for FontForge:
https://gist.github.com/anonymous/91548ecd79effc11ae7fThe 'glyphs’ table, not in SMuFL specs (surprinsingly?), provides with a glyph name <-> {main codepoint + alternate codepoint(s) } correspondence.
There is also a LilyPond metadata generator in it, for whom is interested.
